Sorry, latte lovers: For people who suffer from anxiety, caffeine can be overly stimulating. Psychiatrist Henry Emmons, MD, author of The Chemistry of Calm (Simon & Schuster), recommends cutting out – or at least cutting back on – coffee, black tea, and cola. Instead, try lower-caffeine green tea.
